Chicago’s homelessness system reports over 7,400 people experiencing homelessness on any given night, with young adults 18–24 representing one of the most vulnerable and fastest‑growing segments. National and local patterns show that young men make up the majority of un-sheltered youth, facing higher rates of instability, system involvement, and disconnection from services.
